SIGHT UNSEEN: International Photography by Blind Artists

Temporary Exhibition: 5000 sq. ft. – Canadian Museum for Human Rights

Role: Design Director / Art Director

Sight Unseen: International Photography by Blind Artists is the first major exhibition of work by acclaimed international blind photographers. It explores the idea that blind people can often see in ways that sighted people cannot. The core exhibition features photographs by artists with various degrees of vision loss who use different technologies and creative methods to express what they see.

Sight Unseen is also the first museum exhibition in the world to use cutting-edge technology by 3D PhotoWorks that creates three-dimensional, tactile versions of the photographs for people with vision loss. Touch-activated sensors provide audio information about the images.
